Resolution announces the appointment of Steve Taylor-Gooby as Partner

After spells with Prudential and Mercantile and General Reinsurance, Steve joined Tillinghast in 1985, shortly before it was acquired by Towers Perrin. Steve filled several management positions in Tillinghast – Towers Perrin, including managing the Dutch and German operations before becoming manager of Northern Europe, and then additionally taking on responsibility for developing new operations globally. During this time he set up offices in Japan and South Africa. In 2003 he took on responsibility for managing Tillinghast – Towers Perrin’s operations worldwide, including the software development business. When Towers Perrin merged with Watson Wyatt at the start of 2010, Steve assumed responsibility for the combined insurance consultancy and software practices.

Steve’s specialist skills include mergers, acquisitions and restructurings, as well as risk and capital management. Over his career he has helped many of the world’s leading multinationals with acquisitions and restructurings in many geographies, from North America, to Europe, South Africa and Asia.
